The hotel lot and room itself were very clean and in good repair. Nothing fancy. Beds were very comfortable and clean with multiple variety of pillows. A/C worked well, with one caveat. The price was quite good, compared to other options. Staff was friendly, available, and helpful. Very basic included breakfast — waffles, fruit, yogurt, cereal, boiled eggs, OJ, coffee, etc. Dining room was very clean. Nothing fancy, but good enough to get on the road without being hungry. Coffee was very good. WiFi streaming speed was quite impressive for a hotel. No delays for me, and excellent bandwidth the whole stay. The hotel business is tough, but I loved the conspicuous cleanliness, repair, and bright colors of this place. Nice. If you don't require luxury, this is a solid choice.

Yes, the rooms are a bit dated, but they had everything that you would need on a trip down to San Diego. Decent good sized rooms with full kitchen facilities. Breakfast was adequate with plenty of choice from cereals to boiled eggs etc. Location is ok, plenty of places to eat and shop in the local area, although skewed to the student population in the area. We got ourselves a local bus Pronto Card, which allowed us travel to to Harbour area and Downtown in 30 minutes for only $2.50 a trip each way, without the hassle of driving through busy traffic and finding parking, great value.

That was a nice hotel with clean rooms, fresh towels, and white bed sheets. The hotel is not new, but good maintained. We had a basic room with a bed, TV, and bathroom. We also had breakfast included, where you can get some yogurt, eggs, fruits, coffee, and pastries. What I really loved was that we got free early check-in. We got to SD around 9 a.m., and I called the property to see if we could check in, maybe around 12, because we are very tired and waiting until 3 pm. will be difficult. They said our room is ready, and we can come anytime for early check-in with no extra cost!

The minute I walked in I knew the rooms were cleaned, like really cleaned. I could smell the cleaning products and a faint smell of bleach, which I personally loved. I don't think I have ever stayed in a room anywhere where, even more expensive ones, where I could tell they thoroughly cleaned. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and made us feel welcomed, even asking us how the concert we went was. Friendly staff is always a plus for us. I would definitely stay again.

This hotel is a good one but feels far more like a motel. You park in front of your room and each room connects directly to the parking lot. This is extremely practical but then you have to cope with noise coming from the street (like in every motel). If police/ambulance sirens wake you up, that could be an issue. However, the breakfast was good enough even though no "freshly" cooked eggs or sausages were available. Room size is very good.
